Commissioner of Education response to Assembyman Jeffries re waiver for Kathie Black

Commissioner of Education, Dr. David M. Steiner sent  letter  to Assembly Member Hakeem Jeffries in his response to his an inquiry on Nov. 15,  re the waiver controversy surrounding Mayor Michael Bloomberg's appointee for  NYC  Schools Chancellor media mogul Cathie Black.

A Facebook message is circulating about the DENY WAIVER RALLY organized for tomorrow, Thursday, November 18, at 4:45 PM at the Tweed Court House ( NYC Department of Education Headquarters), 52 Chambers St. in Manhattan. Contact person is William  H. McDonald. His email: whm6363@gmail.com
The rally organizers are calling for: Parents, Students and Community Speakout for a Qualified Chancellor.
