Obama supports firing of central falls high teachers.

"At Central Falls High, he said, just 7 percent of 11th graders passed state math tests. Mr. Obama said he supported the school board’s decision to dismiss the faculty and staff members. “Our kids get only one chance at an education and we need to get it right...”  President Barack Obama (3/1/2010)

In a New York Times article this week, President Barack Obama speaking at the U.S Chamber of Commerce unveiled his latest education proposal certainly one his Secretary of Education Arne Duncan crafted where $900 million in federal grants would be available to school districts  and states that aggressively implement strategies and policies "willing to turn around struggling institutions, " simply closing them down.
