The public not swayed by powerful people endorsing Cathie Black for NYC Schools Chancellor

In a NYDaily News poll 84% voted not swayed by  powerful people endorsing Cathie Black for NYC Schools Chancellor only 12% voted yes, indicated there is massive opposition increasing daily to her appointment despite support from three former NYC mayors and  talk show host diva Oprah Winfrey.

And the petition on-line against her appointment, the signatures increasing daily garnered closed to 10,000 signatures, something the NYC Education Department continues to ignore the public right to be involved in the process according to a  report in the Amsterdam News, the oldest continuously publishing African-American newspaper in the United States.
